Nisa-Nashim women visited mosques to show support during the right-wing protest action taking place throughout the UK.

Below are some quotes from our members:

“Wightman Road Mosque last night: The place was packed with people from all faith groups and backgrounds very clearly saying we are friends, neighbours and in our case, sisters.”

“[We made a] pre-Shabbat visit to Goodge Street mosque to deliver challah.”

“Honoured to stand in solidarity with the Barnet Multifaith Forum at Finchley Mosque after a particularly challenging week here”

“Nisa Nashim stood together in solidarity with our sisters at the British Muslim Heritage Centre to show that love must prevail over all hate crime”

“Thank you to [all our friends]  from all backgrounds who stood with their Manchester Muslim friends at this difficult time.”

“Three of us from Birmingham Progressive Synagogue took challah loaves to a mosque for Jummah prayers on Friday, as a symbol of friendship and solidarity in the face of far-right violence. We were made so welcome, and people were glad to know that Jewish people stand with them against racism, islamophobia, antisemitism and anti-refugee hatred”

“[We came together] for community unity with Interfaith leaders in Southfield (near Wimbledon). Muslims, Jews, Christians and Bahai were praying for the bereaved following the attack in Southport and standing together united against the attempts to spread misinformation and stir up racial hatred.”
