The evening of May 12th 2016 saw two new Nisa-Nashim groups meet in both Durham, in the North East of England, and in Kingston-Upon-Thames in South East London.
Each group has convened a small group of women to discuss bringing Nisa-Nashim to their areas and it felt special that simultaneous conversations were occuring across the nation on how to bring Jewish and Muslim women together.
The meetings went incredibly well and both groups have decided to follow up with food-based events, of course; ‘Nisa-Nashim North East’ will host an Iftar at the end of June, and ‘South-West London Nisa-Nashim’ will host a pot luck lunch in September.
