The sun shone on Roundhay Park, Leeds on Sunday 31st July 2016, as about 35 Jewish and Muslim women and about 15 children enjoyed loads of food and plenty of chat at a picnic, Nisa-Nashim Leeds’ first event since their launch in June.

The huge interest from passersby only cemented the commitment of the group to go out and visibly promote positive relations between women of the two faith groups.
