On Sunday 7th May seventeen Jewish & Muslim women from our South-West London group visited the Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking. The Shah Jahan Mosque is Britain’s first purpose-built mosque. Adele Hetherington, co-chair of the group, said “It was a really good day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it”. The ladies received a tour of the mosque and then also took some time to explore the nearby Brookwood cemetery. The group are aiming to visit a local synagogue in the autumn. Thank you to our lovely South-West London group for sharing their photos with us.

The feedback we receive from our local groups after mosque or synagogue visits is unanimously positive. We would highly recommend that any groups who have not yet managed a visit try to! Please contact our Project Manager Julia if you want any advice on how to go about setting this up.
