On Friday, 13th of July, Nisa-Nashim participated in the Women’s March, Bring the Noise, focussing on equalities and inclusion and coinciding with the visit of President Trump to the UK.
Nisa-Nashim marched arm in arm with thousands of women through the centre of London. The march displayed togetherness, solidarity, and tolerance for all women from all faiths and none.
Co-founder Laura Marks was interviewed by BBC London TV focussing on the importance of unity between women of all faiths and backgrounds at the March.
We are delighted that Nisa-Nashim trustee Akeela Ahmed is on the steering group of the Women’s March and Julie and Laura played a part in organising and galvanising the involvement of women from the faith groups.
