The plight of women refugees, women as collateral damage in conflict, mass migration due to climate change, Israeli Palestinian friendship and ‘Gobby Powerful Women’ were all themes of our uplifting, empowering Nisa–Nashim conference on 15 May 2022.
Our spectacular group of Jewish and Muslim women speakers kept over 100 of us enthralled for three hours on our computers and included Nusrat Ghani MP, Ruth Smeeth, Perm Sec Tamara Finkelstein and Dr Husna Ahmed. We learned, listened and even laughed as we absorbed facts, ideas and sheer enthusiasm for how to help Navigate Crisis, as Jewish and Muslim women.
