Anna joined with the Persian Advice Bureau, Kirsty and Abi from the Debra Reiss Foundation and Janet from Young Barnet Foundation to run a Pop-Up Shop for the asylum seeker and refugee families in their North London hotel on 11 August.
Debra and Abi brought brand new toys and games for all the children and Janet brought well-being packs, fruit and yoghurt for all the children too. The founder of the Persian Advice Bureau, Foujon, works tirelessly to help make a better life for all asylum seekers – irrespective of where they are from.
Special shout out to Diane from NN Southgate and Saida from NN London Book Club for the donations they organised and to Sara Conway who helped sort all the wonderful donations on 9 August for the Pop-Up.
