Jewish and Muslim women from across North London join forces for community walk

Sunday 22nd May saw a well attended London-based friendship walk, organised by Sara Conway on behalf of Unity and Soraya Janmohamed on behalf of Nisa-Nashim Harrow, bringing together Jewish and Muslim women for both ‘walking the walk’ AND ‘talking the talk’!

Soraya said, “Nothing beats a stroll in the park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, except walking with friends and making new connections. Last Sunday almost 40 Jewish and Muslim sisters walked the walk and built bridges in Mill Hill Park. It is not always about raising money, or doing social action projects, but socialising together makes stronger bonds and enables working together in the future easier.”
