The West London Synagogue Jewish Muslim Women’s Group has joined forces with Nisa-Nashim to form the wonderful Nisa-Nashim Marylebone group. The group is co-chaired by Rachel Godfrey, who works for WLS and runs Marylebone Scriptural Reasoning, and Elizabeth Arif-Fear, who runs the human rights and interfaith blog Voice of Salaam. The group had their first meeting under their new guise last night which was an evening all about inspiring women in Jewish tradition. The group will be holding another session all about inspiring women within Islam in June. The group have planned a series of wonderful events from now until November, including a combined Tikkun Leyl Shavuot and Big Iftar, and more than one musical celebrations. We are so thrilled to welcome this group to the Nisa-Nashim network and are looking forward to seeing how they grow!
