The 27 January marked Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD), the international day to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of other people killed under Nazi Persecution and in subsequent genocides. 2020 is also a very special year, since it was 75 years ago that Auschwitz, the most brutal Nazi death’s machine, was liberated by the Soviets.
In order to encourage remembrance, in a world scarred by genocide, the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust makes sure to organise commemorations every year, in support of HMD. This year they hold a particularly emotional ceremony in the Central Hall, Westminster, and so many of our Nisa-Nashim women attended.
Here are some pictures of our wonderful women, standing together.
