Laura and Julie attended a Learning Exchange in Washington DC on the subject of the international migration crisis. There they learned about the work that faith based organisations both in the USA but also in England, Scotland and Ireland are doing both on policy but also on ways to help support migrants when they arrive. The work of the faith groups is crucial in this field, reminding us again of a shared belief in caring for our neighbour and protecting the stranger.
