Ramadan is a time for self-reflection, community, and giving. Local Nisa-Nashim groups embodied these principles of Ramadan by hosting local events and iftars for their Muslim sisters. Jewish and Muslim women hosted iftars up and down the country from London to Leeds, cooking for each other and learning from each other. Take a look below to hear personal testimonies and see some wonderful pictures of our groups;

Nisa-Nashim Harrow hosted a successful Iftar hosted by co-chair Soraya’s mother. Apart from the wonderful food, Nisa-Nashim Harrow enjoyed a session of joint learning, with verses from the Torah and Q’ran about Creation of Humankind.
